At Candlewood Church Omaha, we have had a long history of helping international students. Did you know that there are over 5,000 of them from over 130 countries on the college campuses of the University of Nebraska Omaha and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln? It's amazing that they have the opportunity to study abroad right here.
Be Involved
We do our best to provide practical assistance to these students as they begin their new life in the United States, as well as attempt to provide a family atmosphere, since these students are so far away from their own families. Most importantly, Candlewood Church helps these students learn about the Bible and Jesus Christ. Many of the students we meet come to the United States without ever hearing of Jesus Christ. We can spread the gospel to the nations one person at a time right here in Omaha and Lincoln! Praise God that many of the students have left as missionaries and church planters to their home countries and other countries!
