Band of Brothers

Band of Brothers is the men’s prayer group at Candlewood. It is good for us to be praying for our families, our church, this country and our world.

Looking for a Mens Group in Omaha? Band of Brothers at Candlewood Church is a prayer group and a ministry helping all men become what God intends for them to be: protectors, providers, and spiritual leaders. It can be hard living out the role of a godly man, and it can be hard to develop the character that God desires from men. But doing it together with other men, can make a big difference.

Lead By Example

Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. – 1 Timothy 4:12

In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. – Titus 2:7-8

God’s leaders lead with compassion, care, love, and integrity, because God is in the front. Can you say with certainty that your example can be followed in how you relax, work, communicate, and drive? A wrong example is like a crumpled piece of paper, it’s hard to get all the wrinkles out.
