Surely the Lord is in This Place

A Note From the Candlewood Church Pastor

At Candlewood Church Omaha, our Pastor team likes to keep you up-to-date! Read below the latest note from the pastor.

Genesis 28:16-17 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!” But he was also afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”

When reading today, these two verses stood out to me.  Particularly the phrases, “Surely the Lord is in this place” and “What an awesome place this is!”  These words excite me when I think of Candlewood – may 5051 F Street be a place where individuals, families and our community interact with God and say also, “Surely the Lord is in this place.”  For us to be able to say these words, God will have to be the One to see it happen.  Our role is to pray, to believe, to exercise faith and plead with God to move in our midst.  A true revival from God will only happen because He wills it.  May we as a church continue to ask, seek, and knock.  Only then will we receive, only then will we find, and only then will the door be opened.

Have an incredible week, Church.

Building Together,
The Pastors
