At Candlewood Church, our core values are living as a true church family; devoted to one another through worship, fellowship, hospitality, and shared life in Christ. Because of this, we are excited to begin regular Psalm Singing & Potluck Gatherings.
What to Expect
These gatherings will be an opportunity for families and individuals of all ages to come together for a
- shared meal
- fellowship
- and the singing of God’s Word.
The Book of Psalms for Worship
We will primarily sing from The Book of Psalms for Worship, a psalter that sets the inspired Psalms to music for congregational singing. The Psalms teach us how to worship, pray, rejoice, lament, and hope in God. Psalm singing has strengthened God’s people throughout church history and helps us hide His Word in our hearts together.
These evenings are also about strengthening community within the body of Christ. In Acts 2, the early church devoted themselves to fellowship, breaking bread together, and worship. Our desire is to continue cultivating that same Christ-centered fellowship at Candlewood Church.
