Candlewood Church in Omaha, NE is launching our Small Groups this September. Small Groups may meet at different intervals based on stage of life and group needs, but all groups will meet during the second and fourth weeks of the month from September until May.
What is a Small Group?
Small Groups are made up of people in the same life stage, who help each other to get closer to God, share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others, serve the community together, and have fun. A Small Group is a great way to develop lasting friendships and find support for navigating through life. Check out Steve Kane’s recent teaching on small groups, called “Discipleship”.
Typical activities consist of discussing the Bible and how it applies to everyday life, discussing the sermon from that weekend’s church service, and praying for each other.
No matter what stage of life you are in, we have a small group for you. We have small groups specifically tailored for:
- College aged people
- Single, young professionals
- Young couples some with young children
- Families with children ranging from newborns to elementary
- Families with children ranging from newborns to teens
- More experienced couples and singles, with older or grown children
