Laborers Impacting Nations For Christ

Words that come from many of our forty LiNCers receiving training are usually in this order:

  • Stretching
  • Intense
  • Really good

Like Jesus did with His disciples in Luke 10, we divide up into different pairs, usually guy/girl, in the morning for 2.5 hours and then again in the afternoon for 2.5 more hours. Even with battling rain and cool weather for a few days, our forty participants have prayed with over 450, shared their faith story with 350, a gospel presentation with 350, twelve made a decision to believe in Jesus and eighty follow-up meetings have happened or are scheduled. Over twenty new people have to come to one of the Bible studies we have had in ten days on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

All of us are tired at some points in the day. We have to lean on Jesus for His love, joy and strength. For most of us, this is the most evangelism, follow-up and discipleship we have done day after day. We have seen the power of the Holy Spirit at work. Some people who at first respond warily are really cool, and who can blame them when a stranger begins talking to them, have sometimes become the best recipients of God’s Word and the good news of Jesus Christ.

We have been able to begin training some of the Christians we have met with some of our simple to learn, easily reproducible gospel approaches.  The future laborers are in today’s harvest.

Diane and I are right with AJ, Ernie & Valerie and all the students every day. Diane & I have five college girls living with us in a two-bedroom, one-bathroom, small kitchen house. LiNC is renting five houses in the neighborhood, fifteen minutes from campus by car.

Please pray for us:

  • to grow closer to God
  • To pray more faith-filled prayers
  • for boldness
  • open doors for gospel
  • for all forty-five of us to become effective trainers of others

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

- 2 Corinthians 5:20

Thank you for your partnership in this ministry through your prayers and financial sharing. We pray God will encourage & bless you.
