
Maui Wildfires – How You Can Help
Wildfires tore through the island of Maui. Our hearts break for the people of Maui - Upcountry, Kihei and Lahaina. We are praying for those affected and for your support to those who desperately need help. Don’t wait, they need help now!
At Candlewood Church in Omaha, we will have collection boxes for donations the next two Sundays, August 20 and 27. Please prayerfully consider donating the following items.
Priority Items:
- Portable fans
- Camping gear
- Walkers
- Canes
- Adult diapers
- Solar powered lights
- Portable chargers
- Paper plates
- Cutlery
Other Items:
- Personal hygiene
- Deodorant, toothbrushes, feminine products, hairbrushes, combs, sanitary body wipes, razors, etc
- Baby items
- Bottles, formula, diapers, baby wipes etc.
- Children’s toys
**They are currently not accepting clothing donations.
At Candlewood Church, we will need your help with future organizing of goods and shipping these items. The Ball family at Candlewood Church were deeply affected. They have family in Maui who were left with only the clothes on their backs. If you would like to help support the Ball family’s cousins and uncle who live in Maui, please consider making donations on their GoFundMe:
