Candlewood Church to be an Operation Christmas Child Collection Site

It is with great excitement to announce that this year, Candlewood Church is increasing our participation in partnering with Samaritan’s Purse for the Operation Christmas Child ministry. Not only will Candlewood Church be asking our church members to pack shoebox gifts, we will also be a central, Operation Christmas Child collection site in Omaha, NE.    People from across the Omaha metro area as well as other churches can bring their Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts to Candlewood Church. Being an Operation Christmas Child collection site is a great opportunity for us to serve our community and to serve with Samaritan’s Purse as we seek to reach the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  

Be a Difference Maker in your City and the World 

  We will open our doors for National Collection Week November 16th through 23rd. To make this possible, we will need your help!   As a volunteer, you will have the amazing opportunity to help with the 

• curbside collection
• counting
• packing
• loading of shoebox gifts

  Volunteers are needed at Candlewood Church for the following times:  

• Monday (November 16th) – Friday (November 20th)  4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday (November 21st) 10 AM – 2 PM
• Sunday (November 22nd) 1 PM – 4 PM
• Monday (November 23rd)  1 PM – 8PM
