Candlewood Church Omaha 2019 Highlights

Psalm 107:43

“Those who are wise will take all this to heart; they will see in our history the faithful love of the Lord.”

2019 has once again been an incredible year.  Listed below are some of those highlights.

Candlewood Church Omaha Highlights of 2019

    1. Building Together 1.0: In May of 2019, our first ever capital campaign came to completion.  This campaign has provided us with a permanent location that in just the past year has seen us able to partner with two new ministries that use 5051 F Street as their meeting location- Celebrate Recovery and Parent Life. Candlewood Church’s building is currently providing a meeting place where many in-house ministries meet on a regular basis-Youth Group, Ladies Night, and more.
    2. Bridge Builder’s Conference: hosted our 1st Annual International Student’s Ministries Conference with participants coming from all over the Midwest.
    3. Trunk or Treat: over 700 guests, Gospel tracks, engaged in hundreds of conversations and most of all displayed the love of God with the community around us.
    4. Operation Christmas Child: We had a goal of distributing 750 children’s boxes and that goal was met. The Candlewood family is and always has been incredibly generous. Thank you!
    5. The church has continued to grow, both from within and without. We had the privilege of dedicating fourteen children to the Lord along with witnessing seven individuals publicly following the Lord in baptism.  We have added three part-time staff positions and are continuing to support our many missionaries, both here and abroad.

Candlewood Church Omaha would not exist if it were not for the sacrifice and service of all of you who so generously give of your time, talents and treasures.

With 2020 approaching quickly, God is leading Candlewood Church Omaha into even greater steps of faith.  Please be praying for our future as we expand our territory for an even greater impact.

Psalm 108:13a

“With God’s help we will do mighty things.”

May God richly bless you and yours in 2020.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Building together,

The Candlewood Church Omaha Pastors
