“48 Years in the Making: Biblical Secrets to a Healthy Marriage”
Candlewood Church is excited to host a marriage conference March 27-28, 2026 at the DoubleTree Downtown. Registration opens Jan 18, 2026 through Feb 25, 2026.
Is a happy, peaceful home actually possible in today’s chaotic world?
We believe the answer is a resounding yes. A healthy marriage isn’t a matter of luck; it’s the result of timeless Biblical principles applied with intentionality.
In this conference, Tom and Roz pull back the curtain on the simple, yet profound, action steps that have sustained their 48-year journey. You will be challenged to look at marriage through a new lens—one that may require sacrifice but promises a reward far greater than the cost. Whether your marriage is in a season of struggle or a season of strength, this is an investment you owe to yourself, your spouse, and the children watching you.
Join us and discover how to build a home that is a sanctuary of peace and a beacon of hope.
Marriage Conference Speakers – Tom and Roz Short
This year, we have invited Tom and Roz Short as our guest speakers. Tom and Roz believe that a vibrant, lifelong marriage isn’t reserved for the lucky few—it’s built on simple, timeless principles that anyone can apply. Having navigated nearly five decades of life together, they bring a wealth of
- hard-won wisdom
- humor
- practical insight
to the stage.
While Tom is widely known for his bold gospel ministry on university campuses and his years of pastoral leadership across the country, his favorite mission field remains his own home. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Tom and Roz are the proud parents of five and grandparents of 14, and they are passionate about helping couples move past “surviving” to truly enjoying the gift of marriage.
