The youth of Candlewood Church will be using their musical gifts to share why we have JOY during Christmas! We warmly welcome ALL the church to attend, not just parents, and anyone the students invite from the community in singing five traditional Christmas songs.

Sunday school teachers will be providing cookies and the hospitality team will be serving them along with hot chocolate to make this night extra special for the whole family to enjoy.
Sharing the Good News Joyfully
At Candlewood Church, our goal is to come alongside our students and help them learn how to use their gifts for outreach. We want to share the good news of Jesus and what His birth is REALLY about to those who don’t know about it. We want to encourage believers and unbelievers alike that we can have joy this Christmas, despite our circumstances.
Be a Difference Maker – Invite Family and Friends to Attend
This Christmas season, we will be difference makers in our community when people hear the gospel as they attend the program. Our church will be encouraged in the season by the worship of Bible-based traditional hymns.
On Sunday, November 17, kids in Sunday school will be creating invitations to mail out to people they would like to invite to not only hear them sing, but also anyone they would like to encourage with JOY in Christ.
Program Songs to Practice
Practices occur during Sunday school time from now until the program. If you would like to practice at home with your student(s), the 3-11 year olds will sing Sounding Joy and the congregation will join in:
- Joy to the World
- Hark the Herald
- O Come Emmanuel
- O Holy Night
- One more TBD
