July 8th was the first anniversary of the purchase of our new facility at 5051 F Street. We are currently in the final stages of our remodel, and we are very excited about moving into our first permanent location here in Omaha, NE as God expands our territory for an even greater impact.

 

As we prepare to move in, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support for this campaign, especially for your many prayers, acts of service, and generous gifts. God has answered many prayers already – some through you – and He is continuing to answer more. We are forever grateful.

 

We also wanted to make an additional request, as well as extend an invitation.

 

The request: Please join us in praying that we, as a church, would be able to reach out to this new community, and that all of our neighbors would begin to see Candlewood Church as a place where lives would be healed, hearts would be restored, and where God would be exalted. We are praying that our church would be a place of hope, healing, and health, and that God would continue to do a mighty work through the people of Candlewood.

 

The invitation: We are planning on having a Grand Opening Sunday this fall and would love for you to join us. We plan to invite our community to join us on that day and look forward to thanking God for our past and asking Him to prepare us for our future. After that morning celebration, we will also be serving everyone lunch. Look for more details later this summer on our Grand Opening invitation.
