Saints of Candlewood,
Throughout our history, by God’s grace, we’ve been involved in helping people and changing lives. You may have heard examples of how at a recent Building Together informational dinner. You may have seen one of our video testimonials – (Julie and/or Haden). Your life may have been transformed by God using Candlewood, or perhaps it was that of your spouse, roommate, or friend. We are very thankful for how God has used us in our past.
At this point in our history, we are also trusting that God wants us to do more to expand our territory for an even greater impact. That’s why, as you may know, this Sunday we are officially kicking off Building Together, a campaign that we are trusting God will use to raise the faith and the funds to acquire permanent locations in both Omaha and Lincoln.
We believe this will provide greater permanency and a greater sense of legitimacy in our community, which will help even more people to visit, and then make Candlewood their home. We believe this will help us to better meet the needs of families. We believe this will strengthen the ministries we have, and provide opportunities for additional ministries we are not currently involved in. We believe this is the next step in doing what we’ve always done: focusing on people and changing the world with the Gospel, one person at a time.
We hope you can join us at church each Sunday in April as we lay out what we believe God wants from us, His people. We are entering into what could be the most important stage of Candlewood’s history so far, and we invite you to be a part of it. Let’s Build Together and expand our territory for an even greater impact!
